Staff iOS Mobile Software Developer

Role Overview: As a Staff iOS Developer at GoTo, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and deploying world-class functionality for iOS mobile applications with a high degree of autonomy. You will work alongside your mobile app development team, leading the design of major components and features, investigating technical feasibility, and suggesting implementation options. Collaboration with key stakeholders such as Product Managers, UX Designers, and Quality Engineers will be a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, as well as refactoring legacy code when necessary, will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, maintain, and deploy world-class functionality for iOS mobile applications. - Lead the design of major components and features alongside the mobile app development team. - Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Quality Engineers. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. - Refactor legacy code when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience. - 7+ years of engineering experience in the software industry. - 5+ years of experience with Native iOS development, particularly with real-time mobile applications. - Strong understanding of mobile application architecture. - Expert level knowledge of Native iOS development (Objective-C, Swift, etc.), RESTful APIs. - Experience in Android development (Java, Kotlin) is a plus. - Good English communication skills with a desire to learn, strong analytical, and debugging skills. - Desire to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
