Staff Engineer, Software Development Engineering (Apps)- C++, STL/Boost

Role Overview: As a member of the Software Tools Team at Sandisk, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tools for SSD products. Your primary focus will be on developing in-house software tools to interact with SSDs, test their performance, and implement technical specifications. You will work on features in the tools, troubleshoot and debug complex issues, and contribute to a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software tools for SSD products, focusing on performance testing and interaction with SSDs - Understand technical specifications and design and implement features in the tools - Work on application development on Windows or Linux Platform with hands-on experience in C++, STL/Boost programming - Strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and multi-threaded design and programming - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues independently - Prior experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies Qualifications Required: - BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering - 5-8 years of experience in application development on Windows or Linux Platform - Hands-on experience in C++, STL/Boost programming, data structures, design patterns, and multi-threaded design and programming - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues independently - Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies Additional Information: Sandisk values diversity and believes that embracing diverse perspectives leads to the best outcomes for employees, customers, and communities.
