Staff Engineer - QA

In the role of a Staff Engineer QA at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Software Analytics and Global Automation (SAGA) team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and execute test plans to ensure the quality and performance of SAGA tools. This will involve collaborating with development teams, automating test processes, and continuously enhancing testing coverage and strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and execute test plans for SAGA tools - Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues - Automate test processes - Continuously improve testing coverage and strategies **Qualifications Required:** - BE/BTech/MS/MTech degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 10+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience - Extensive experience in end-to-end product and system testing - Demonstrated leadership in managing a test team and monitoring test metrics - Deep understanding of automation testing and writing automation scripts - Experience in UI, Usability, Load, Performance, Scalability, and Backwards Compatibility testing - Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently - Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology **Additional Details:** - Test experience in embedded software, OS like Linux/Android/QNX is a plus - Knowledge of configuring and managing embedded devices on Linux, Android, or QNX - Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent cloud systems and services Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
