Staff Engineer - Pre/Post Silicon Validation

As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other cutting-edge technologies to contribute to the development of world-class products. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in meeting performance requirements and developing innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Architectural validation of Silicon level hardware to identify design implementation bugs through pre/post-silicon system level validation - Developing methodologies, executing validation plans and coverage, and debugging failures - Validating new architectural features in next-generation designs by creating test plans, test content, and coverage points Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering - 8-12 years of relevant industry experience - Proficiency in Power Management IC interfacing, DVFS, system low power modes, and measuring power/performance features of a SoC - Developing random stress stimulus validation frameworks - Strong command of C and Python programming for content development and scripting - Knowledge of ARM SoC concepts and architecture specifications like SMMU, GIC, and Coresight - Ability to debug and resolve hardware issues, implement software use-cases, and use lab equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and Lauterbach debuggers - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to new environments and technologies Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
