Staff Engineer, Functional Consultant

With over 17500 experts across 39 countries, we are scaling rapidly and looking for talented individuals like yourself to be a part of our team. **Requirements:** - Total experience of 7+ years. - Strong working experience in TCS Bancs architecture and product capabilities. - Familiarity with customization best practices in Bancs. - Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Proven expertise in managing customization and interface requirements. - Knowledge of secure coding practices, unit testing, and documentation. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks. - Ability to conduct functional benchmarking and industry analysis. - Experience in end-to-end Bancs application implementation. - Strong background in client interaction and stakeholder communication. **Responsibilities:** - Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the client's needs in the context of the project. - Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it. - Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets. - Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities. - Leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts. - Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task, and justifying it. - Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement. - Giving constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations. - Helping the team troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs. - Providing solutions to any issue raised during code/design review and justifying the decision taken. - Carrying out POCs to ensure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
