Staff backend Engineer

As a Staff Backend Engineer at our client's company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing backend services using your expertise in C++ and C#. You will lead a team of backend engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-performance solutions that align with our product roadmap and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and development of backend services, APIs, and system architecture. - Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to backend engineers. - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices in software engineering. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features. - Conducting code reviews, performance analysis, and system optimization. - Participating in architectural discussions and defining backend technology strategies. - Ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring. - Driving adoption of engineering best practices such as unit testing, CI/CD, and code documentation. - Troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with other teams for resolution. - Continuously exploring and evaluating new tools and technologies to enhance backend infrastructure. Your qualifications should include: - Minimum 8 years of professional backend development experience with proficiency in C++ and C#. - Building scalable, high-availability backend systems and APIs. - Understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms. - Experience with multithreading, memory management, and low-level system programming. - Hands-on experience with relational databases and messaging systems. - Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Nice to have skills include experience with .NET Core, microservices architecture, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence would be an added advantage.,
