Job Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Deputy Manager – Recycling Plant with proven experience in greenfield project execution and plant operations . The ideal candidate will support the planning, setup, commissioning, and operationalization of a new recycling plant, followed by day-to-day production and maintenance supervision. This role requires hands-on knowledge of recycling processes, machinery, statutory compliance, and project execution. Key Responsibilities : · Assist in the end-to-end execution of greenfield recycling plant projects , including layout planning, vendor coordination, and equipment installation. · Work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project milestones (civil, mechanical, electrical). · Coordinate statutory approvals (CPCB, SPCB, EPR compliance) and ensure adherence to environmental and industrial norms . · Support in the preparation of project budgets, CAPEX plans, and technical specifications. · Supervise daily operations including sorting, processing, shredding, and recycling of materials (plastic, metal, e-waste, etc.). · Monitor production targets, machine performance, and material recovery efficiency. · Implement SOPs for safety, quality, and productivity. · Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate with maintenance teams for minimal downtime. · support the recruitment, training, and supervision of plant staff and operators. · Maintain operational documentation, daily production logs, and EHS records. · Ensure full compliance with pollution control standards , health and safety norms , and ISO certifications (if applicable). Qualifications & Experience : · Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Environmental Engineering , Industrial Engineering , or related field. · 8–10 years of experience in recycling or waste management , with at least 2–3 years in greenfield project setup . · Sound understanding of recycling plant machinery (e.g., balers, shredders, extruders, washing lines). · Familiarity with EPR regulations , CPCB/SPCB guidelines , and environmental clearances .
