Key Responsibilities:1. Hardware Support:Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform repairs or replacements. Maintain inventory and records of IT hardware assets. Ensure timely upgrades and servicing of hardware equipment. 2. Network Administration:Set up and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks. Monitor network performance and security. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (internet, routers, switches, firewalls). Configure and manage network devices like routers, modems, access points, and switches. 3. System Support & Maintenance:Provide technical support to end-users for system and network issues. Install and update operating systems, drivers, and software applications. Perform regular system backups and recovery. Implement antivirus, security patches, and updates. 4. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain logs of hardware maintenance and network issues. Prepare reports on system and network performance. Document network layouts and configuration changes. Required Skills:Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting. Hands-on experience with hardware repair and upgrades. Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field. Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Network+ are preferred. 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT support or networking (for junior roles).
