We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality instruction, preparing students for board examinations, and contributing to the overall academic environment of the school. Key Responsibilities Teach English Language and Literature to as per the prescribed syllabus (CBSE). Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and worksheets. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback. Strengthen students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Prepare students for board exams through regular practice, revision, and guidance. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment. Keep accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and assessments. Conduct remedial classes for students who require additional support. Organize and participate in English-related activities such as debates, elocutions, and literary events. Collaborate with colleagues on planning, curriculum development, and school programs. Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and through regular updates.
