Role & responsibilities. Physical Security & Property Protection Develop and implement security protocols for gated communities, commercial buildings, and construction sites. Oversee installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, access controls, and perimeter defences. Coordinate with property managers to ensure tenant safety and incident response readiness Risk Management & Compliance Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments across all properties. Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and insurance requirements. Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies during investigations or inspections. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Build and manage in-house security teams and third-party security vendors. Train staff and tenants on emergency protocols, evacuation plans, and personal safety. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with security service providers. Crisis Management & Emergency Response Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans for real estate assets. Lead response efforts during natural disasters, civil unrest, or criminal incidents. Maintain relationships with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services. Preferred candidate profile Must be a Graduate. 10+ years of experience in security leadership, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of property law, tenant rights, and urban safety dynamics.
