Job Description Position: Delivery Boy Key Responsibilities: · Delivery of Items: Transporting packages, documents, food, or other goods to customers or designated locations. · Route Planning: Optimizing delivery routes for efficiency and timely delivery. · Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles. · Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service during delivery, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues. · Payment Handling: Collecting payments from customers, if required. · Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and customer information. · Safety and Compliance: Adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. · Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Required Skills: · Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record is often required. · Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. · Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers professionally. · Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages, especially for roles involving heavier items. · Route Planning: Knowledge of local roads and ability to plan efficient delivery routes. · Basic Math Skills: For handling cash transactions (if applicable). · Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues that may arise during deliveries. Potential Additional Responsibilities: · Handling Customer Complaints: Addressing customer complaints or issues related to deliveries. · Following Company Procedures: Adhering to specific company policies and procedures related to deliveries. · Inventory Management: In some roles, may be involved in managing inventory or stock levels. Working Conditions: · Driving/Riding: Delivery drivers spend a significant amount of time driving or riding their delivery vehicles. · Varying Weather Conditions: May be required to work in different weather conditions, including rain, heat, or cold. · Physical Activity: Involves physical activity such as lifting, carrying, and walking. · Potential Irregular Hours: May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays. · Experience: 1 to 2 years · Qualification: 10th or PUC Pass · Valid 2 Wheeler Driving License · Immediate Joiner Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Language: Kannada (Preferred) Work Location: In person
