Sr.Engineer - Painting

You will be responsible for supervising the painting job on a day-to-day basis to ensure progress according to delivery schedules. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international codes and standards for oil and gas painting applications and inspection requirements. You will be required to plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules, prioritize painting expenditures, and establish procedures for equipment maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning the consumption of blasting, painting, and other consumables materials on a monthly basis to ensure smooth execution. Monitoring the Quality Control Plan (Q.C.P) and method statements, and ensuring strict implementation of quality standards as per set parameters through regular quality audits will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will need to organize the necessary tools and maintain optimal stock levels while deploying manpower as required. Experience in monitoring blasting, painting, packing, and conducting inspection activities as per standard procedures will be essential. You will also be responsible for handing over RFD Valves to the Dispatch Team without discrepancies. Your role will involve driving new initiatives such as productivity improvement, cost reduction, and shop floor maintenance using various tools. Verifying monthly running bills for completed work, training blasters and painters for uniform finish, coating thickness, and defect-free coating, and coordinating departmental actions will also be part of your responsibilities. Having strong verbal and written communication skills, promoting positive behavior in the department, and ensuring compliance with safety, H.S.E., and P.P.E. regulations for all employees will be integral to your role.,
