Sr UI/UX Designer

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at one of Alkye's products, Merchmix, located in Mohali, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional design solutions that meet client requirements and align with the latest trends in website and app design. With over 10 years of experience in your field, you will be responsible for refining wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to ensure visually appealing and highly functional designs. Your expertise will also be utilized in adapting designs for mobile, tablet, and app interfaces to provide users with a seamless and intuitive experience. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to produce outstanding design outcomes. Drawing upon your deep understanding of website and UI design, as well as foundational graphic design theory, you will lead and contribute to creative reviews, offering insightful critiques and suggestions. Conducting thorough user research to inform design decisions and testing new ideas before implementation will be a crucial part of your role. Your designs will adhere to current online information architecture standards and UI design best practices. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Logo Designing, along with experience in Sketch, Illustrator, and other prototyping software. A strong grasp of mobile and desktop user journeys, coupled with a background in working on high-engagement digital products, will be advantageous. An impressive UI design portfolio showcasing your skills is a must. Additionally, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively discussing and explaining design choices.
