Sr. Technical Leader (Android Middleware Automotive)

As a Sr. Technical Leader specializing in Android Middleware for Automotive Infotainment, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge solutions for the next generation of SDV, eCockpit, and Infotainment systems on Android Automotive. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around creating software architecture, leading a team of Middleware Developers, and ensuring seamless integration of various domains such as Audio, Media, Tuner, Connectivity, Graphics, Projection, and inter-domain communication. Here's what you need to excel in this role: - Design and develop software architecture for Android Middleware/Platform in the automotive domain, leveraging your expertise with AOSP and HAL. - Lead a team of Middleware Developers across multiple domains including Audio, Media, Tuner, Connectivity, Graphics, Projection, inter-domain communication, Camera, and Display sharing. - Act as the main customer interface for all software-related activities, engaging in design reviews and negotiating customer requirements effectively. - Demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills to drive project success. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop innovative technical solutions. - Develop and maintain comprehensive software design documents, specifications, and test plans. - Identify technical risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. - Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to integrate software components seamlessly into the overall system. - Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in automotive software development to drive continuous improvement and innovation. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success. - Define the AIDL interfaces for the framework components and ensure implementation compliance with CDD and successful passage of CTS and VTS.
