Sr Systems Engineer - Storage

You will be joining Cadence as an IT- Sr Systems Engineer in the India office sites. As an Engineering graduate (Computer/Electronics) with at least 4-8 years of relevant experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of the data storage environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of the data storage environment - Providing Level 2/3 technical system expertise - Overseeing and being accountable for resolution of outages, service level issues, and user/customer support needs in coordination with Operations Support - Creating and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure systems, design, configuration, support, and processes - Diagnosing and resolving complex configuration and bottleneck issues within a complex application & systems infrastructure - Assisting with backup & recovery procedures - Participating in change control activities to ensure awareness of scheduled work Preferred qualifications include a good working knowledge of Foreman, Elk, Grafana. In this role, you will be a member of the Core automation team, working on automating operations to manage Unix infrastructure globally, as well as on automation projects & global rollouts.
