Sr Systems Engineer - Storage

At Cadence, we are looking for a motivated IT Sr Systems Engineer to join our team at our India office sites. As an Engineering graduate in Computer or Electronics with 4-8 years of relevant experience, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of our data storage environment. Your responsibilities will include providing Level 2/3 technical system expertise, overseeing the resolution of outages and service level issues, and addressing user/customer support needs in coordination with Operations Support. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure systems, design, configuration, support, and processes. Additionally, you will diagnose and resolve complex configuration and bottleneck issues within a complex application and systems infrastructure, as well as assist with backup & recovery procedures. Ideally, you should have a good working knowledge of Foreman, Elk, and Grafana. In this role, you will be a member of the Core automation team, working on automating operations to manage Unix infrastructure globally. You will also be involved in automation projects and global rollouts.
