Drive technical consensus and alignment through expert consultation and cross-functional collaboration . Develop scalable infrastructure solutions and architectural patterns that support enterprise-wide initiatives. Create and champion best practices for system development, operations, and engineering excellence. Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to elevate engineering standards across the organizationA day in the lifeYour day will be dynamic and technical, involving cross-functional collaboration, complex problem-solving, and technical leadership. You'll engage with senior leadership and engineering teams, design innovative infrastructure solutions, and develop automated systems that drive operational efficiency across multiple teams. As a senior technical contributor, you'll mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance, help unblock team members by solving complex technical challenges, and build automation solutions that streamline development workflows and improve team productivity.
- Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust- Experience with Linux/Unix- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience in professional software engineering & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)- Experience with Agile engineering practices (Kanban, continuous delivery, etc.)- Experience with AWS platforms, services, and design patternsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
