SQA-Sr. Engineer

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for firmware validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on firmware components.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with firmware developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks using scripting languages and test automation tools.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain and improve the QA environment and infrastructure.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics , computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in firmware testing or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience working with remote development teams outside of India
• Experience testing communication interfaces and protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet or EtherCat
• Proficiency in using hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems.
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration testing.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Exposure to safety-critical testing standards such as ISO 26262 (automotive) or IEC 61508 (industrial automation).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks for firmware development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
