Sr Software Engineer - C++

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications in C++ on the Windows environment. Your key duties will include involvement in requirement analysis, design, coding, and testing. You will need to understand and learn the architecture and design of existing applications primarily developed using C++. Taking ownership of assigned tasks related to new feature implementations, bug fixes, and enhancement activities is crucial. It is essential to document projects according to project standards, including architecture and technical specifications. You will be required to engage in technical communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Working independently and collaborating with your immediate team, architects, and other leads is expected. Additionally, you should be capable of leading and mentoring teams of up to 5 members. In terms of work experience, you should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a lead engineer developing applications on Windows. A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using C++ is necessary. Proficiency in programming and debugging skills in C++ for Windows, a strong grasp of OOPs concepts, and a solid understanding of design patterns are essential. Knowledge of multi-threading, real-time systems, and high-performance applications is required. You should be able to write effective and reusable code following best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interfacing skills are crucial. Desirable skills for this role include knowledge in the Healthcare Domain, COM, experience in C#, knowledge of SQL Server, the ability to navigate large code bases to understand architecture and design, and the capability to deliver results with minimal supervision from leads or managers.,
