Job Description

As a Senior Risk Consultant at Extreme Event Solutions in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for preparing Facultative and Treaty data for different countries and regions for modeling. Your role will involve applying Insurance & Re-insurance policy conditions, analyzing client exposure data against different perils, and quantifying natural catastrophe risk using catastrophe modeling software. It will be crucial for you to maintain clients" Turn Around Time and quality consistently while understanding and interpreting losses and preparing various reports as per client requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and managing deliverables - Assigning work to team members - Audit/reviewing the work done by team members - Managing workflow in the absence of Team Lead/Manager - Raising client queries - Demonstrating attention to detail - Exercising superior communication skills In addition to the above, you will also be required to: - Perform a wide range of risk analyses in support of consulting projects and client support - Provide day-to-day client support in using Verisk's software platforms and understanding catastrophe models and their output - Respond to client questions promptly and collaborate with internal teams for accurate resolutions - Support on-boarding efforts for new clients - Work closely with business development and senior management teams - Provide technical and pre-sales support in sales efforts - Act as an ambassador of Verisk to clients and prospects Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in the catastrophe modeling industry - Experience working with (re)insurance companies or brokering firms - Hands-on experience with Verisk's Touchstone / TS Re software - Understanding of CAT Modeling losses - Knowledge of policy structure in (re)insurance industry - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL - Programming skills in SQL, R, Python are highly beneficial Education and Experience: A degree in Insurance, mathematics, actuarial science, or business is required.
