Sr. R&D Engineer

The R&D Senior Engineer position at Prominance UNICEIL involves supporting product development and testing activities related to uPVC ceiling and cladding products. As a Senior Research & Development Engineer, you will work on innovative projects in the building materials sector, regardless of prior experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development, improvement, and testing of uPVC products, collaborating with the R&D team on formulation trials and product optimization, documenting product testing and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of trials, using Microsoft tools for data analysis, and demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills within project teams. In addition, you will be expected to show a proactive attitude and a high level of dedication to R&D activities. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, with a basic understanding of polymer compounding and extrusion processes. Experience with uPVC materials and building product applications, as well as familiarity with testing protocols for physical, mechanical, and fire properties, would be advantageous. You should also possess the ability to manage detailed documentation and technical records, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
