Sr. Power BI Executive

As a Senior Power BI Executive, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Postgres SQL. This includes gathering business requirements, transforming data, and delivering actionable dashboards and reports that support decision-making at a strategic level. You will lead the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. Your responsibilities also include: - Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translating them into functional BI solutions. - Performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and DAX. - Optimizing Power BI solutions for performance, usability, and scalability. - Integrating data from various sources including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services (AWS). - Maintaining documentation and implementing data governance best practices. - Mentoring junior team members and supporting training sessions on Power BI best practices. - Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and delivering BI projects on schedule. Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Postgres SQL, Power Query, and DAX. Prior experience in developing BI solutions and strong analytical skills are essential. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
