Sr. PHP Architect

As a Senior PHP Architect with over 10 years of experience in PHP architecture, your key responsibilities will include: - Leading system architecture and design for enterprise-scale PHP applications. - Providing technical leadership across multiple teams to ensure code quality and architectural consistency. - Defining and implementing best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines throughout the development lifecycle. - Driving architecture reviews, code audits, and performance optimization strategies. - Spearheading the migration of legacy PHP systems to modern frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. - Collaborating with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals and technical strategy. - Mentoring development teams to foster a culture of innovation, scalability, and maintainability. - Ensuring seamless integration between back-end architecture and front-end components. - Leading AWS cloud deployment strategies and application scalability efforts. Your primary skills should include: - Deep experience in PHP architecture with hands-on proficiency in Laravel and/or CodeIgniter. - Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, design principles, and modular system design. - Expertise in front-end integration using JavaScript, preferably jQuery or modern frameworks. - Solid experience in CSS for UI/UX consistency and responsive design. - Proven track record of handling legacy system modernization. Your secondary skills should encompass: - Advanced knowledge of MySQL, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning. - Practical experience with AWS services for deployment, scaling, and monitoring. - Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. - Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) using tools like phpUnit. - Bonus: Working knowledge of Python for auxiliary components or scripting.
