Sr. Manual Tester

Role Overview: You are required to have a minimum of 6 years of experience in manual testing. Your main responsibilities will include writing test cases and executing them for web-based applications. You must possess a strong understanding of web technology, including web services, tiered architectures, and the differences between HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Additionally, you should have proficiency in SQL fundamentals, such as writing simple queries and performing JOIN operations. As this is a client-facing role, excellent communication skills in English are essential. Your tasks will also involve quality control processes, software development life cycle (SDLC), software testing life cycle (STLC), metrics reporting, defect management, and test case management. Collaboration with team members and maintaining a positive work environment are crucial. Experience with tools like Jira, Firebug, TFS, MTM, or Rally is preferred, while automation knowledge is considered a plus.
