Description
As a Shopify Developer in a Senior Manager position, your primary responsibilities will include completing web development projects, managing and expanding a team. This role necessitates strong leadership qualities, as well as a seasoned commercial and problem-solving mindset. Your duties will involve: - Demonstrating proficiency in the Shopify platform, with exposure to application development and the utilization of storefront APIs to enhance Shopify functionality - Possessing a strong knowledge of liquid programming language and hands-on experience in developing and applying custom/bespoke Shopify themes and modifying existing templates - Collaborating with UX and UI design teams to create seamless, robust, and responsive front-end user experiences - Managing multiple projects simultaneously and promptly addressing their specific needs and requirements - Understanding the business needs that steer project features & functions and providing internal consultation - Creating and constructing tracking and conversion funnels to enhance business metrics and implement optimizations for e-commerce conversions - Recruiting developers, organizing their training, and fostering their growth - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and adherence to best practices - Experience in migrating the e-commerce ecosystem to Shopify, integrating third-party systems, and Shopify-supported apps - Strong comprehension of e-commerce principles and associated technology/tools - Comfortability with version control systems like Bitbucket/GitHub - Utilizing Shopify Plus features such as scripts and flow to maximize the capabilities of the platform in building, launching, and maintaining Shopify web-stores - Proficient skills in MySQL, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, and Web Services - Knowledge of additional platforms will be advantageous - Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming concepts Bonus Points will be awarded for: - Experience with Bootstrap - Proficiency in Vue.js, SASS, Webpack, Gulp - Exceptional troubleshooting & debugging skills - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance - Positive attitude, high energy, and a passion for enhancing web development skills Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in developing within the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms - 5+ years of experience in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, SASS, XML - Mandatory experience with Shopify Plus - Strong leadership skills, encompassing team management, coaching, and mentoring - Hands-on experience in daily e-commerce execution and process optimization - Interest in staying updated and implementing current best practices - Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment - A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance - Positive attitude, high energy, and a dedication to expanding web development skills About Social Beat: Social Beat has received numerous accolades from Google, ET Brand Equity, Foxglove, Digies, Advertising Club of Madras, Advertising Club of Bangalore, and has been recognized as one of the Fastest Growing Agencies by Agency Reporter.,
