Sr Lead- Graphics

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Engineering Group, focusing on software engineering to drive innovation and digital transformation. Your role will involve designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software to deliver cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design system-level software solutions based on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system-level software solutions - Work on embedded Kernel software development for 3D graphics on mobile devices - Focus on Kernel mode drivers design and development for multiprocessor and multithreaded platforms - Maintain optimized KGSL/DRM drivers for Mobile/XR/IoT devices running on Android/Linux - Provide support for new GPU hardware development and optimize software performance and power - Develop unit tests and collaborate with partners, game developers, and OEMs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Relevant work experience in Software Engineering - At least 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python - Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with Linux kernel device drivers - Knowledge of GPU kernel drivers and embedded SW systems - Expertise in RTOS, debugging skills, and implementing/supporting Graphics drivers for standards like OpenGLES, Vulkan, OpenCL, or Direct3D Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities during the application and hiring process.
