Sr. Highway Design Engineer

As an experienced Highway Design Engineer, your role will involve leading a team of Assistant Engineers and CAD technicians to ensure the quality of deliverables. You will be responsible for overseeing the highway design work, guiding team members in design calculations, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Your proactive approach will be key in developing the design abilities of Assistant Engineers and improving the overall quality of the team's output. Key Responsibilities: - Design and review the work of Assistant Engineers and CAD technicians - Oversee and troubleshoot highway design work - Guide Assistant Engineers in design calculations and CAD technicians in drawing preparation - Mentor Assistant Engineers and provide inputs for team development - Coordinate with team members and project manager for timely project delivery Qualifications Required: - 10-20 years of experience in highway design - Familiarity with design codes such as IRC Code, Euro Code, DMRB, AASHTO - Understanding of highway analysis and design principles - Hands-on experience with highway design software (e.g., MX Roads) - Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation and adherence to CAD standards - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Fluent in professional English language (written and verbal) Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.
