Sr. Field Applications Engineer

As a Sr. Field Application Engineer at AMD, your role will involve being the technical interface for AMD's commercial products with commercial end customers in the INDIA region. You will provide technical support for AMD's commercial products, including commercial client, workstation, and server (CPU & GPU). Your responsibilities will include engaging with large INDIA end customers to demonstrate how AMD technology can address their business needs, providing pre-sales and development support, and handling technical escalations and post-sales technical support. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong technical knowledge base and skill-set, along with effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal AMD stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop technical relationships with target end customer accounts and OEM partners - Win new commercial client, server, and workstation opportunities by establishing technical solutions based on AMD technology - Work with internal AMD teams to create technical presentations and documentation for field delivery - Optimize workloads and applications on AMD-based commercial solutions for priority pipeline opportunities - Deliver technical presentations and sales pitches to influence new AMD sales with customers and partners Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience in a technology-related field - Knowledge in CPU and server system architecture, server benchmarks, GPU computing, and server platform enablement - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex problems involving cross-functional teams - Experience in leading IT/Technology sales engineers - Hands-on experience with server hardware ecosystem, server software ecosystem, and virtualization technology - Excellent organizational and communication skills with a good balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise - Proficiency in Linux and Windows based server operating systems In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, the preferred candidate for this position must possess a combination of relevant academic and professional experience. The candidate should have a technology-related bachelor's degree or other technical discipline, along with knowledge in CPU and server system architecture, server benchmarks, GPU computing, and server platform enablement. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to manage complex problems involving multi-disciplined teams, and strong experience in leading IT/Technology sales engineers.,
