Handling stores activities i.e. receipt of material, storage of goods and logistics planning, dispatch planning, inventory control. Preparing various reports, tracking transporter performance, delivery performance, process improvement, preparing service PR and 3PL related activities, in full computerized environment. The job requires to coordinate with cross functional departments like planning, QA , Finance to control day to day activities of warehouse related function. Coordinate and supervise the team of co -workers, SFEs, external warehouse and contract labours for smooth operations.
Daily FG stock reconciliation FG stock posting by production verses actual received & get it corrected through production. Stock Accuracy
2. To ensure the timely clearance of FG from production area & dispatching the goods in best fit type of vehicles as per dispatch plan. Zero stoppage of Production Lines
3. To ensure that the vehicles which are placed are fit for use with respect to dimensions of vehicles, hygiene and physical condition as per check list. Loadability Truck Utilisation Efficiency
4. To ensure that loading of FG in truck is done as per defined pattern to avoid the in-transit damages. Percentage of damage free deliveries
5. To ensure correct documentation in SAP Viz invoicing and e waybills. Errorless SAP transactions
6. To ensure that all checks Viz color coding, label displays and placing of goods are in place for the adherence of FIFO and have a control over ageing and obsolescence of material. Reduction in Customer complaints
7. To carry out the perpetual stock count and reconciliation of stock on weekly monthly basis to maintain stock accuracy and rectify mismatches of stock with production/ finance team, if any. Adherence to frequency/schedule & Stock Accuracy 8. Tracking the stock in transit (SIT) and follow up with transporters for delayed vehicles.
Regular ageing analysis of FG Stock and escalation to concerned function for liquidation of aged material or timely disposal in case liquidation not possible. Reduction in write off
10. To ensure the upkeeps of warehouse to comply the guidelines of all standards like FSSAI, FSSC, ISO and GWP. Good Scores and no Non Compliances in Audits
11. To perform the role of auditee in all in-house and external compliance audit and also to ensure the timely closure of any observation and gaps reported in audit. No. of audits done at different sites
12. Basis the quantum of work, carryout the manpower planning and ensure the right manning in shifts and having a control over OTs.
13. Facilitate the month closing activity, includes conducting FG stock audit through finance team and carryout post audit stock reconciliation activity. Timely closure of gaps found in audits
14. Creating service POs in SAP and checking & verifying vendors bills as per contract. Timely processing of vendor bills
15. Preparing Daily and monthly MIS includes delivery performance, placement efficiency & reconciliation report, Saving tracker and Stock closing report. Timely circulation of MIS
16. Tracking of warehouse actual expenses against the budget on monthly basis and analysed the reason of over and under budgeting. Control of expenses within budget
17. To impart the training on SAP, safety and GWP to executives and SFEs.
18. To play the active role in implementation of improvement projects.
Qualifications Certifications B.tech.
Knowledge Essential SAP and MS-Office
Experience Essential 5- 7 years in Warehousing & Logistics Desirable 5- 7 years in Warehousing & Logistics in FMCG
