What You ll Be Doing: Evolent is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining healthcare software solutions. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications. Lead efforts to create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and test coverage. Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security. Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Mentor junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance. Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and provide regular reports on software quality to stakeholders. Participate in test case reviews, design discussions, and product planning to ensure quality is built into all phases of the software lifecycle. Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Karate, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Appium). Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and familiarity with version control systems like Git. In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior team members. Mandatory Requirements: Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work.
