SR. DESIGN ENGINEER - GEOTECHNICAL (WET IC)

As a Senior Design Engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering for Water & Effluent Treatment projects, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Demonstrating a strong academic background with a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, along with 2 to 5 years of relevant design experience. - Utilizing your expertise with a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing foundation schemes, including Open and Pile foundations, retaining walls (gravity type, precast), shoring systems, reinforced earth slopes, embankment & cuttings for waterfront structures, and pavements. - Contributing to the preparation of Specifications, drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ). - Applying knowledge of ground investigation and ground improvement techniques to enhance project outcomes. - Utilizing analytical skills to assess complex problems and provide appropriate solutions. - Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, PLAXIS LE, and MIDAS. - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while maintaining a high level of numeracy and attention to detail. - Familiarity with IS code and IRC codes is preferred for adherence to industry standards. - Demonstrating flexibility for cross-skilling in other sub-disciplines of Civil Engineering. - Being open to short-term travel assignments both within India and overseas to support project requirements. Your qualifications should include a Master of Technology (MTech) degree, along with a solid background in Geotechnical Engineering.
