Sr Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at ECU Mumbai, you will be responsible for developing and deploying data science models across functional areas to drive business impact. Your role will involve identifying ML use-cases, prioritising projects, and collaborating with various departments to create opportunities for machine learning and data science. You will lead data science projects from ideation to execution, working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and impactful machine learning solutions. Your key responsibilities will include architecting machine learning solutions for business challenges, developing AI models using state-of-the-art techniques, and ensuring best practices in model creation. You will also be responsible for presenting data science insights and model results to senior stakeholders, deploying robust machine learning solutions in collaboration with data engineers, and setting up measurement frameworks to monitor and enhance model performance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring junior data scientists and data analysts to foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3 to 7 years of experience in Machine Learning and Data Science. You should be proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly AWS. Additionally, you should have expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as hands-on experience with cloud platforms, databases, and tools such as Spark and Scala.
