Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer (Embedded)

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Embedded systems, your role will involve the following responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: - Designing, developing, and maintaining secure software solutions for Linux-based systems on embedded and automotive systems, including security controls such as Secure Boot, secure unlock, secure reprogramming, and message authentication. - Configuring AppArmor profiles to enforce security policies and mitigate risks in Linux environments. - Developing and integrating Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) solutions. - Implementing Cryptography and Key Management solutions. - Collaborating with Client Product teams and working closely with hardware and software team members. - Incorporating secure coding standards and practices in DevSecOps processes. - Conducting security assessments, code reviews, and enforcing Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Open Source Software vulnerability scanning, and license analysis. - Maintaining and updating software bill of materials and contributing to GIT repositories. - Participating in PI planning, providing effort estimation for implementing security controls, and contributing to the Feature Roll Out Plan (FROP). Qualifications Required: - 6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in embedded systems. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with secure software development on Linux-based systems. - Familiarity with AppArmor profiles, Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), Cryptography, and Key Management. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing secure coding practices. - Proficiency in conducting security assessments, code reviews, and utilizing security testing tools. - Ability to contribute to project planning and implementation of security controls.
