Sr. C&A Designer

Role Overview: As a Senior Control & Instrumentation Designer at Hatch in Gurugram, India, you will be responsible for the production of C&A design deliverables in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of the C&A project leadership. Your role will involve leading a team of designers on projects, converting various files into 3D models, producing and maintaining drawings, ensuring quality and correctness of data on drawings and databases, and coordinating with designers and engineers of other disciplines. You will also be involved in maintaining check-prints, participating in quality audits, and complying with Hatch Engineering Procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Leading a team of designers on projects to achieve desired objectives. - Converting Markups/PDFs/AutoCAD/Micro-station files into 3D model. - Producing and maintaining drawings using software as required. - Ensuring quality of the 3D drawings and database. - Checking drawings/data prior to release. - Ensuring coordination with designers and engineers of other disciplines. - Maintaining Check-prints, history files as per project/HATCH procedures. - Carrying out preparation for both internal and external quality audits. - Participating in quality audits. - Complying with Hatch Engineering Procedures. Qualifications And Experience: Essential: - Engineering diploma or college diploma or ITI or equivalent in Instrumentation. - Minimum of 15+ years of Design experience. - Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment. - Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations, and codes. - Proficiency in the use of SP3D software. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Good safety awareness. - Focus on quality/continuous improvement. Preferred: - Experience in the use of procedures and workflows in the execution of projects. - Candidates with working experience on SmartPlant 3D/Bentley tools. - Proficiency in the use of MicroStation/AutoCAD.
