Sr. ASP.NET MVC Developer

As a Software Developer at our company, you will be responsible for building and maintaining application functionality for new and existing systems using the .Net toolset with a SQL Server back end. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core MVC frameworks. - Integrating web applications with external systems and services using Web services, REST Web APIs, XML, and JSON parsing. - Participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. - Working with business systems analysts and/or project managers to plan and produce deliverables within a short time frame. - Taking an idea from creation through construction and launch into production with minimal support. - Maintaining a high standard of quality for code, documentation, and other deliverables. - Authoring unit test code and being familiar with mock/fake object testing. - Adhering to industry best practices and contributing to internal coding standards. - Providing estimates for assigned development tasks. - Learning and evaluating new technologies and tools as needed. - Participating in peer code reviews. In addition to the responsibilities, the qualifications required for this role are: - Utilizing established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and C# - Having exposure to MVC Framework and knowledge of web services, REST WEB APIs, XML, and JSON parsing. - Understanding Microsoft Reports for reporting and data visualization. - Enhancing existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement. - Being familiar with version control tools like SVN, GIT, GitHub, Gitlab, and Azure Repos. - Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Possessing excellent communication skills. - Investigating and developing skills in new technologies. - Having a strong technical knowledge. - Creating technical specifications. - Being a Graduate in Computer Science or any other related field. - Having 6-8 years of relevant experience.
