Sr Advanced Web Developer - Shopify Developer

You will join the Resideo team as an experienced Liquid Shopify Developer, responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify themes using Liquid templating language. Working closely with design, marketing, and development teams, you will contribute to creating seamless and engaging e-commerce experiences. - Build and customize Shopify themes utilizing Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Implement responsive designs to ensure optimal performance across various devices. - Develop and integrate custom features and functionalities based on business requirements. - Utilize Shopify APIs, apps, and third-party tools to enhance platform capabilities. - Ensure website speed, SEO, and overall performance are optimized. - Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional interfaces. - Work with the marketing team to implement A/B testing, promotional pages, and custom landing pages. - Update and maintain the Shopify store to ensure uptime and performance. - Troubleshoot and promptly fix bugs or errors. - 5+ years of experience in Shopifys Liquid templating language. - 5+ years experience in Shopifys ecosystem. - 3+ years in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery or React if needed). - 3-5 years of experience in customizing Shopify themes and building custom templates. - 3-5 years with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations. - 3-5 years of experience in version control systems (e.g., Git). - 3-5 years in Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers Certification is a plus. - Basic understanding of SEO principles for e-commerce. - Consumer and B2B Commerce Experience. - Experience with JSON, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies. - Detail-oriented approach to quality and performance. - Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
