SQA Automation Engineer (Codescept JS)

As a talented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Automation Engineer at AllGenTech, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks for cutting-edge applications. Your expertise in Codescept JS will be key in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Here are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality test automation frameworks using Codescept JS, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Selenium. - Continuously improve and maintain existing test automation frameworks to ensure effectiveness and scalability. - Implement Object-Oriented Design principles and Page Object Models (POM) for reusable, maintainable, and scalable test code. - Develop clean, well-structured, and reusable code to promote best practices in test automation. - Set up CI/CD pipelines to automate test case execution and enable frequent code deployments. - Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability. - Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to provide detailed feedback on test automation progress and track automation results and issues. In order to excel in this role, you will need the following skills and experience: - Strong experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Codescept JS, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Selenium. - Proven ability to build and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch. - Solid experience in Object-Oriented Design principles and Page Object Models. - Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. - Strong expertise in Typescript for writing high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code. - Minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience in test automation domain. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Agile methodologies, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
