SQA Automation Engineer

You will be joining AllGenTech as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Automation Engineer, where your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain high-quality test automation frameworks for cutting-edge applications. Your expertise in Codescept JS will be crucial in driving the automation process effectively. Your role will involve designing, developing, and enhancing test automation frameworks to ensure their scalability and efficiency. Leveraging Object-Oriented Design principles and implementing Page Object Models (POM) will be essential to create reusable, maintainable, and scalable test code. Your key responsibilities will include setting up and integrating Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate test case execution and enable frequent code deployments. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams to understand project requirements and provide detailed feedback on test automation progress. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications across various platforms. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Codescept JS or similar tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or Selenium. Your strong background in building automation frameworks from scratch and expertise in Object-Oriented Design principles will be beneficial. Proficiency in Typescript and experience in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks are essential requirements for this position. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Agile methodologies, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
