Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane . The Junior Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing and developing technical and commercial proposals in line with client specifications and project requirements. The role involves close coordination with the Sales , Procurement , and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and competitive bid submissions. The candidate will also support electrical and mechanical engineering tasks as required, ensuring all proposal documents and costing sheets are complete, compliant, and submitted within deadlines. Key Responsibilities Prepare and write technical and commercial proposals based on client inquiries and tender documents. Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare accurate quotations. Collaborate with Sales , Procurement , and Design/Engineering teams to obtain necessary inputs for proposal preparation. Utilize Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems to prepare costing sheets, layouts, and proposal documentation. Ensure proposals meet both technical and commercial requirements and are submitted within the stipulated timelines. Maintain and update proposal databases and documentation for future reference. Support project handover from proposal to execution teams after order finalization. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in proposal preparation or tendering within the engineering/manufacturing industry. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical , or related engineering discipline. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in AutoCAD (preferred). Strong knowledge of Excel for costing and documentation. Knowledge Areas: Understanding of water treatment systems , pharmaceutical utilities , and related standards (preferred). Exposure to Sales and Procurement processes. Knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering principles used in project design and estimation. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and time management. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Work Location Thane, Maharashtra (On-site) Employment Type Full-time
