Brief About the Job This is a full-time (hybrid = field + remote) internship role for a Growth & Partnerships Associate. The role involves organising and managing curated events in Bangalore, onboarding hosts, partnering with popular venues, and driving brand buzz on campus and social media. Internship Duration 2-3 months (extendable based on performance/ Chances of PPO) Stipend - Rs. 12,000 per month Role Description This is a full-time internship role designed for students passionate about events, marketing, and meet up culture. You'll help Spotlyte launch in Bangalore by onboarding hosts, securing venue partnerships with cafes/pubs, planning and managing events, and spreading the buzz in multiple college campuses and social channels. Responsibilities Identifying and onboarding local partners excited to host events on Spotlyte. Pitching and securing partnerships with popular cafes, pubs, coworking spaces, and other venues for hosting events. Planning, coordinating, and supporting small-scale events like pub crawls, board game nights, and music jams. Promoting Spotlyte among peers and on social media to generate buzz and attract event participants. Collaborating with Spotlytes core team for weekly reporting on hosts signups, venue deals, and event performance. Assisting with marketing campaigns, hosts incentives, and referral programs as needed. Providing feedback on event concepts and helping tailor experiences for the Bangalore market. Education Qualification Open to any undergraduate or postgraduate students in Bangalore. Recommended for students from colleges such as Christ University, St. Josephs, Mount Carmel, Jain, RVCE, PES, Ramaiah, Kristu Jayanti, BMS, Dayananda Sagar, Oxford, Garden City, and CMR University. Active involvement in cultural committees, marketing clubs, E-cells, or event organizing teams is a plus. Desired Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kannada/Hindi. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Passion for events, influencer marketing, and social media trends. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Business Insight: Get exposure to business development, partnerships, and data-driven decision-making. 5. Event Hosting: Be the face of our brand by hosting/emceeing events and meetups. Preferred candidate profile Must-Have Skills: - Advanced communication & interpersonal skills (non-negotiable). - Confidence in negotiation and persuasion. - Extroverted and comfortable in social/public settings. - Presentable with a strong personal presence. Good-to-Have Skills: - Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media. - Interest in business, data, and consumer behavior. - Prior event or community management experience is a plus (but not mandatory).
