Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Teacher to join our institution and promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons, coaching various sports, and organizing sports events and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver structured physical education classes in accordance with the curriculum.
Teach a variety of sports including team games, individual activities, and fitness training.
Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices among students.
Develop students’ physical abilities, motor skills, and sportsmanship.
Prepare students for inter-school and intra-school sports competitions.
Organize and supervise extracurricular sports programs and clubs.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities.
Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper use of facilities.
Keep accurate records of student progress and participation.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to support the overall development of students.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Previous experience as a PE or Sports Teacher is preferred.
Knowledge of rules, techniques, and strategies for a wide range of sports.
First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
