Job Description: Web Developer About the Role: As a Web Developer, you will work closely with our team to develop, maintain, and optimize our web properties. Your responsibilities will span both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functionality. You'll also play a key role in our e-commerce operations, working with Amazon Seller Central and implementing SEO strategies to boost our online visibility. Key Responsibilities: ● Website Development: 1. Develop and maintain dynamic web pages and features using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies. 2. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. 3. Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and interactive web experiences. 4. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance. ● Platform-Specific Development: 1. Develop custom themes and functionalities using Shopify's Liquid templating language . 2. Work with PHP for server-side logic and database interactions. ● Full-Stack Contributions: 1. Front-End: Implement user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Less a plus), and JavaScript (familiarity with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular is a bonus). 2. Back-End: Assist in developing and maintaining server-side applications, APIs, and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). ● E-commerce & SEO: 1. Assist in managing and optimizing product listings and content within Amazon Seller Central . 2. Implement SEO best practices on-site to improve search engine rankings (keyword research, meta tags, site structure, page speed optimization). 3. Monitor website performance and suggest improvements for conversion rates. ● Troubleshooting & Support: 1. Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues on the website. 2. Provide support for website-related inquiries. ● Learning & Growth: 1. Stay updated with emerging web technologies, industry trends, and best practices. 2. Actively participate in code reviews and team discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications: ● Proficiency in Liquid templating language (experience with Shopify development is a significant advantage). ● Solid understanding of PHP. ● Strong foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. ● Familiarity with back-end concepts, including databases (SQL) and server-side logic. ● Understanding of Amazon Seller Central operations and listing management. ● Basic knowledge of SEO principles and tactics. ● A strong desire to learn and grow as a full-stack developer. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. ● Good communication skills. ● Freshers with demonstrable projects and a strong portfolio are highly encouraged to apply!
