Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management Supervise daily operations of the cinema including box office, concessions, projection, and housekeeping. Ensure all shows start on time and that technical quality (sound, projection, and ambience) is maintained. Monitor and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities are in excellent working condition. 2. People Management Lead, train, and motivate the cinema team (supervisors, stewards, cashiers, and housekeeping). Prepare duty rosters and manage shift schedules to ensure optimal staffing. Conduct regular team briefings and performance appraisals. Foster a positive work culture and encourage team engagement. 3. Customer Experience Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve guest complaints or issues. Monitor guest feedback and implement improvement measures. Ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all guests. 4. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Manage daily cash flow, ticket sales, and concession sales; ensure accurate reconciliation and deposit. Achieve revenue, profitability, and cost targets (labour, utilities, and supplies). Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with the corporate team. Ensure all licenses, statutory documents, and records are up to date. 5. Marketing & Coordination Work with the marketing team to execute local promotions, offers, and special screenings. Build relationships with local partners, corporates, and schools to drive group bookings. Support movie release planning and event execution. 6. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and fire regulations. Conduct regular audits for hygiene, stock control, and operational standards. Comply with all labour laws and company HR policies. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate / Postgraduate in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in Cinema / Multiplex / Hospitality / QSR operations. Proven experience managing large teams and handling customer-centric operations.
