Job Description

As a Data Analyst at GN - SC&O - S&P Spend Analytics, your role will involve collaborating closely with the Project Manager to evaluate data quality, detect gaps, perform analysis, and derive valuable insights. You will be responsible for creating reports and extracts to support these insights, proactively identifying data issues, devising solutions, and enhancing processes. Managing databases, conducting data audits, and generating insights through analysis will be key aspects of your role, requiring seamless teamwork for continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: - Data Management: Establish and maintain databases by aggregating data from diverse sources. - Data Refining and Enhancement: Develop and uphold data refining rules and rectify data deficiencies through logical validation. - Data Audit: Ensure data quality, pinpoint gaps, and update the database as necessary. - Data Analysis: Analyze prepared data according to defined processes, derive insights, and create new analysis templates when needed. In terms of technical requirements, you should be proficient in: - MS Excel: Proficient in independent analysis structuring, with proficiency in Macros considered a bonus. - Alteryx (Optional): Possess a general understanding of the tool and its fundamental features. Qualifications required for this role include: - Ability to devise solutions for data and analytical challenges. - Develop dependable Excel data models for spend analysis, savings identification, and efficiency-related analysis. - Execute primary and secondary research to bolster data-driven insights and process enhancements. - Collaborate with team members to uncover key insights and opportunities. - Focus on continual process enhancement.,
