Speech Pathologist and Audiologist

As a Speech Pathologist & Audiologist at TMC Hearing Care Clinic in Mangalore, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to revolutionizing hearing health with personalized care and advanced technology. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. You will create personalized treatment plans, educate patients and their families about their conditions, and collaborate with other professionals to improve communication abilities. This involves performing screenings, identifying the root causes of communication issues, and developing appropriate therapy techniques to address specific needs. Additionally, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, do regular follow-ups of patients, and stay current with best practices and research in speech pathology and audiology. You will also be responsible for conducting basic audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, reflexometry, tympanometry, and OAE. You will interpret audiological test results and make recommendations for treatment or further evaluation. Providing counseling and education to individuals and families regarding hearing loss and hearing conservation, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, will be essential parts of your role. Moreover, maintaining accurate records and reports will be crucial in ensuring high-quality care delivery. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in ASLP, along with experience working in the field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and fluency in English & Kannada (Tulu/Malayalam) is required to effectively communicate with patients and their families.
