The Specialized Analytics Manager role provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility within a team. You will offer operational/service leadership and guidance to the team, applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to provide value-added perspectives and advisory services. Your responsibilities may include contributing to the development of new techniques, models, and plans within your area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are essential for this role. You will be responsible for the volume, quality, and timeliness of end results, as well as shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Your work will have a significant impact on the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. As a manager, you will oversee the motivation and development of the team through professional leadership, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and daily task direction. In this role, you will work with large and complex data sets, both internal and external, to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies. This will involve identifying and compiling data sets using tools such as SAS, SQL, and Pyspark to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business outcomes. You will be responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, which may involve utilizing statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques. Individuals in this role may often be referred to as Data Scientists and will specialize in digital and marketing analytics. Additionally, you will need to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, applying ethical judgment, and effectively supervising the activity of others to maintain high standards of conduct. Qualifications for this role include experience in a People Manager position, a strong understanding of Adobe Analytics, proficiency in SAS and Python, excellent communication skills for coordination with senior business leaders, a good grasp of financials and PNL metrics, background in financial services with an understanding of credit card business, and preferably exposure to Digital Business and knowledge of Digital Performance KPIs.
