Specialist, Solution Architecture

As a Specialist in Solution Architecture at Fiserv, you have a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions architecture strategies that align with the company's business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and security of our systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and deploy architectural solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the financial services industry. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing solutions architecture strategies and frameworks, collaborating with various business units to ensure alignment between business objectives and solutions architecture, providing guidance on solutions and integration across multiple platforms, evaluating and recommending emerging technologies to enhance business performance, as well as creating and maintaining architectural models, blueprints, and documentation. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior team members in best practices and methodologies. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 4 years of experience in solutions architecture and design, along with 2+ years of experience in developing and integrating solutions using languages like Java, C#, or Python. You should also have 2+ years of experience with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot, as well as designing and implementing microservices architecture and working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. An equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience totaling 4+ years will also be considered. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a background in the financial services industry, would be beneficial but not mandatory.
