Specialist Software Engineer - Python Spark

The role requires a professional with up to 6 years of relevant experience in Python, Spark, Java, AWS, and SQL technologies. As part of the team, you will be responsible for supporting applications in production using Python skills. Your primary focus will be on technical deliveries related to Python/Spark and SQL, with a secondary emphasis on development and understanding of these technologies. You should have strong experience in Spark with Python, along with proficiency in developing with Python libraries such as Polars, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, etc. Additionally, experience with databases, preferably Databricks and Teradata, is essential for this role. Knowledge of Java is considered an added advantage. A basic understanding of the Unix file system is required, as well as experience working on cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Understanding data warehousing skills and adherence to Agile practices are key aspects of this role. Your participation in and contribution to design, architecture, and high-quality code development will be crucial. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.S. degree in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology.
