As a Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and test cases, creating mock data for executing user stories, setting up data for integrated testing, and contributing to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts. You will write test automation scripts using SOAP utilities or Rest Assured, execute them manually or automatically using Jenkins, and establish a CI/CD process for automating test case execution. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects, certify software according to standards and business requirements, and ensure proper documentation in JIRA and time entries for QA work. In this role, you will research, define, document, and prototype additions and changes to ESF products under limited direction. You will apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables, adhere to technical and functional standards, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an associate degree in Computer Programming, or equivalent education in a related discipline. Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement. You should have at least 6 years of experience in testing technical solutions, with a minimum of 2 years in automation testing and performance testing. Preferred skills and experience for this role include creativity, self-motivation, problem-solving abilities, strong communication and writing skills, effective multitasking capability, and analytical skills. Experience in manual and automation testing of Java applications and RestAPIs, familiarity with Postman and SOAP API, proficiency in RestAssured, and knowledge of Groovy or Python are advantageous. Additionally, an understanding of security testing practices, software development lifecycles, and certification in software testing methodologies are preferred.
