About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using Kotlin. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-performance applications using Kotlin. Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers. Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure best coding practices. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications. Stay updated with the latest Kotlin and industry trends, best practices, and technologies. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in Kotlin. Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles. Experience with backend development using Kotlin (Ktor, Spring Boot, or Micronaut). Proficiency in working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets. Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Nice to Have: Experience in Android development using Kotlin. Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation.
